An estimated 15 million Australians (85% of the adult population) say they would cease dealing with an organisations if they became aware their information had been accessed by unauthorised people. Many would also consider a range of other responses to a data breach, with 47% saying they would take legal action and 64% saying they would publicly expose the issue.
